Car Navigation Systems
Multilingual car navigation systems are available. Please request when reserving your car.
Car navigation systems are standard equipment on All passenger classes (including station wagons and SUV) (except for some models and regions).
Notes:
- Please call if you would like us to include a car navigation system (free of charge) in cars belonging to classes not listed above.
- Only a limited number of vehicles for certain models may be available. Please contact us in advance.
How to Use the Multilingual Navigation System (Setting the Destination)
Setting the Destination by Phone Number
- The operation of the car navigation system differs slightly depending on the model. This is the way to set a destination using the "NSCP-W64" model.
Touch the MENU button.
Touch Destination.
Touch Phone No.
Enter the destination's phone number from its area code (the number that starts with a 0, without the 81 country code), and press Search.
If multiple candidate destinations appear, select the appropriate one.
The destination is displayed. Upon confirmation, touch the Set Dest. button.
The route is displayed. Upon confirmation, touch the Guide button. If you would like to change the route, touch the 5 Route button or the Change Route button.
If you touch the 5 Route button, five routes; Quick, Toll Rd, Gen. Rd, Short, and Aiternate are displayed, and the ECO icon appears next to the route with the lowest fuel consumption. Select your preferred route.
Route guidance begins.
Setting the Destination by MAPCODE
Locations of places without phone numbers like scenic spots can be set by entering MAPCODEs into the car navigation system.
A MAPCODE is a number of up to ten digits that provides location data for many places in Japan.
Key in the MAPCODE of your destination for directions.
- The operation of the car navigation system differs slightly depending on the model. This is the way to set a destination using the "NSCD-W66" model.
Touch the MENU button.
Touch Destination.
Touch the MAPCODE button.
Enter the destination's MAPCODE, and press Search.
The destination is displayed. Upon confirmation, touch the Set Dest. button.
The route is displayed. Upon confirmation, touch the Guide button. If you would like to change the route, touch the 5 Route button or the Change Route button.
If you touch the 5 Route button, five routes; Quick, Toll Rd, Gen. Rd, Short, and Aiternate are displayed, and the ECO icon appears next to the route with the lowest fuel consumption. Select your preferred route.
Route guidance begins.

- The procedure described here is for changing the language to English.
For display in Chinese (Simplified Chinese) or Korean, use the same procedure to select each language.
Touch the MENU button.
Touch 設定・編集 (Settings/Edit).
Touch 共通 (Common Settings).
Touch 言語設定 (Language Settings).
Touch English.
Touch OK when the system's restart confirmation screen appears.
*Certain functions are only available in Japanese.
The language settings have been changed.

Searching by MAPCODE

Using Your Smartphone’s Navigation with the Audio Multimedia System
for iPhone
By linking your smartphone to the car navigation system its language and voice settings will also be reflected in the car navigation system.
- Some Audio Multimedia and smartphone functions may not be supported.
Touch the MENU button.
Touch the button marked 設定・編集 (Settings).
Touch スマホ連携サービス (SmartDeviceLink™).
Select Apple CarPlay.
Connect your iPhone to Audio Multimedia.
Please use a USB cable with data transmission capabilities.
*Some cables may not be compatible.
After set-up is completed you can use Apple CarPlay. Touch Maps in Audio Multimedia.
Set your destination in Audio Multimedia.
You can control music and other apps through Audio Multimedia.
